January 2005 finds Idle Pop ensconsed in a secret rehearsal studio in Leeds. So secret in fact, that the band have trouble finding it.
The rehearsals are a great success and a summer 2005 tour is scheduled.
May 2005 and the band complete an all conquering comeback gig at the White Hart in Bradford. To a packed crowd, the boys ripped through
2 sets of high voltage rock 'n' roll. So successful was the night that they were immediately asked back for a return gig.
And so the saga continues. Since 2005 Idle Pop have played all over West Yorkshire, as well as dates in North Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Manchester and both the Speakeasy and Fibbers in York.
From The Beatles to The Kaiser Chiefs, from the Stones to Green Day, from The Who to Blink 182, Bowie, T-Rex, Pistols, Clash, Oasis, Blur, Pulp, Stereophonics, Kings of Leon - Idle Pop play it all from the 60s to the present day.
